FAKHRİ VALEHOGLU "AZERBAİJAN-GEORGİA RELATİONS" ( BETWEEN 1919 AND 1922)
In the monograph by Fakhri Valeh oglu Hajiyev (Faxri Valehoglu), Chief of Staff of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and Doctor of Historical Sciences, Azerbaijan-Georgia relations are examined in the context of the military-political processes that took place in the South Caucasus between 1918 and 1922. In this context, the political-diplomatic activities, structure, personnel composition, economic and financial support issues of the diplomatic representations of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and the Azerbaijan Public Council Republic (Azerbaijan Socialist Soviet Republic) in Tbilisi and Batumi, as well as those of the Democratic Republic of Georgia in Azerbaijan, are comprehensively studied based on primary sources.
The monograph is the first attempt at a systematic study of the diplomatic missions of the Azerbaijani democratic and Soviet republics abroad, as well as the representations of foreign countries in Azerbaijan between 1918 and 1922.
