THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION DEVELOPS CULTURAL COOPERATION WITH A PRESTIGIOUS HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION IN POLAND

During the official visit to Poland, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, held a meeting with Mr. Alojzy Nowak, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, one of the country’s prestigious higher education institutions. The meeting discussed issues related to cooperation between the Foundation and the University of Warsaw in promoting the cultural heritage of Turkic peoples. The establishment of a research center for scientific studies and research on the Turkic World under the Foundation’s auspices at the University was also discussed. It should be noted that a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the University of Warsaw was signed in 2023.
Rector Professor Mr. Alojzy Nowak emphasized the significance of strengthening the scientific and cultural relations between the University and the Turkic world. He provided information on the research and academic programs related to Turkic languages, history, and culture at the university’s Department of Oriental Studies. Mrs. Raimkulova spoke about the Foundation’s broad range of activities and the projects aimed at promoting the cultural and historical heritage of Turkic peoples on an international scale.
As part of the visit to the University of Warsaw, an interactive meeting was held with students from the Department of Oriental Studies, where an exchange of views took place on Turkic cultural heritage and the role of Turkic states in international cultural cooperation.
At the end of the event, participants were presented with a Nowruz table and traditional sweets.
