THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION PARTICIPATED IN THE 21ST ANKARA BOOK FAIR

The opening of the 21st Ankara Book Fair, where Azerbaijan is represented as an honorary guest, took place at the "Ankara ATO Congresium" Center.

At the exhibition, which will last until December 9, publications of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation on the literary and cultural heritage of the Turkic world are displayed at a separate stand in the corner of the Azerbaijan National stand.

The opening ceremony of the event began with a performance by the dance group of the Azerbaijan Cultural Center. Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Batuhan Mumcu, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Türkiye Rashad Mammadov, director of the Ataturk Center in Azerbaijan, who was elected "international guest of honor" of the exhibition, academician Nizami Jafarov, "honorary author" of the exhibition Kemal Sayar highly appreciated the organization of the exhibition and emphasized its importance, as well as the significant of popularization of reading among young people. They also highlighted the richness of the Turkic people’s heritage, noting the unique cultural diversity of the Turkic nations.

Within the framework of the exhibition, which is projected to be visited by 500 thousand book lovers, the presentation of the books "The language of the land - Ashig Veysal" and Omar Seyfaddin's "Tales", published by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Turkish and German, will be held. It should be noted that the participation of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in the 21st Ankara Book Fair is part of its cooperation with the Azerbaijan Cultural Center at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Türkiye.
