THE PRESIDENT OF THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION MET WITH THE NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR OF TURKIYE TO AZERBAIJAN

On April 3, 2025, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, met with Mr. Birol Akgün, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkiye to Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, discussions were held on the ongoing efforts to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic world and to pass it on to future generations. They also addressed the further development of these activities, particularly those carried out by the Republic of Turkiye, the founding state of the Foundation.

The importance of implementing future joint projects and expanding cooperation between the parties was emphasized. Ambassador Birol Akgün underlined the significance of unity among Turkic peoples, especially in light of current global events, and noted the important role that the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation plays in this regard.

The meeting concluded with discussions on potential joint projects in the fields of culture and heritage, as well as future plans to promote the cultural values of the Turkic world on the global stage.
