On March 29, 2025, in Arkadag, Turkmenistan, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, delivered a speech at the conference “Year of Peace and Prosperity: Development of International Initiatives for Children,” organized by the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova greeted the participants of the conference and emphasized the importance of holding such events, especially in the context of the difficult and tragic events occurring around the world, for the future of our peoples, represented by children. She expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the organization of the event.
Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova also noted that youth is always at the center of attention, and this issue is a priority in the activities of the Foundation. She informed the participants about the steps taken by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation to educate youth and children about the centuries-old history and rich culture of the Turkic world, as well as to involve them in cultural and social projects.
The President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation highlighted the irreplaceable role of heritage in educating youth with healthy spiritual values. “As we know, heritage is the foundation that shapes the personality, sense of belonging, and role in society of the younger generation. Through culture, customs, language, and history, youth learn about the world, connect with their roots, and develop mutual respect. Therefore, it is impossible to educate the younger generation without respect for heritage and its integration into education and daily life,” said Mrs. Raimkulova.
The event was also attended by Mrs. Oguljahan Atabaeva, Vice-President of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov; Mrs. Saida Mirziyeva, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Mrs. Akmaral Alnazarova, Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Mrs. Zakarya Kunsulu, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Science and Innovation; Mrs. Mahinur Ozdemir, Minister for Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye, representatives of the government of Turkmenistan, diplomats and staff of international organizations accredited in Turkmenistan, faculty and students of local universities, representatives of public and social organizations, as well as local and foreign media representatives.
