PRESIDENT OF THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION, AKTOTY RAIMKULOVA TOOK PART IN THE CONCERT PROGRAM “UZEYIR HAJIBEYLI AND THE MUSIC OF THE TURKIC WORLD”
On September 22, 2025, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Aktoty Raimkulova, took part in the concert program “Uzeyir Hajibeyli and the Music of the Turkic World,” organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan at the M. Magomayev Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall. It should be noted that the concert was held within the framework of the 17th International Music Festival dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the birth of the great Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli.
The Uzeyir Hajibeyli Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra performed at the event under the direction of Kanat Omarov, Chief Conductor of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Kazakhstan and laureate of international competitions. Among the soloists were Artur Qaysarov, a kurai performer from Bashkortostan, and Alem Isayev, a well-known Azerbaijani baglama player. It should be noted that Kanat Omarov and Artur Qaysarov were invited by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation to Baku to take part in the upcoming International Symposium “From Ashig Alesger to Uzeyir Hajibeyli: Cultural Codes of the Turkic World”, which will be held on September 25 of this year.
The program opened with the overture from Uzeyir Hajibeyli’s opera “Koroglu.” The concert continued with works by artists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Bashkortostan, and Tatarstan.
The event became not only a demonstration of the richness of the musical heritage of the Turkic world but also a celebration of cultural integration and shared values.
