PRESIDENT OF THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION ATTENDED THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 13TH SESSION OF THE WORLD URBAN FORUM (WUF13)

On May 18, 2026, the opening ceremony of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) was held in Baku.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the Executive Director of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), Ms. Anacláudia Rossbach, welcomed the heads of state and government, as well as the heads of delegations participating in the Session.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, delivered a speech at the event.

The opening ceremony of WUF13 was also attended by the president of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova.
