EXCHANGE OF VIEWS ON THE PRESERVATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE HELD BETWEEN THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION AND THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF AZERBAIJAN
On June 11, 2026, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, met with Mr. Gursel Ismayilzade, Head of the Department of Eastern Europe, South Caucasus, Western and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the international projects implemented by the Foundation, activities aimed at preserving, promoting and transmitting the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples to future generations, as well as the organization’s priority areas of activity for the near future.
Professor Aktoty Raimkulova provided information on the initiatives being implemented to preserve the ancient historical and cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples in the Foundation’s member and observer states, as well as in other countries. She also highlighted the established cooperation with international organizations and the projects carried out within this framework.
Mr. Gursel Ismayilzade highly appreciated the Foundation’s activities, particularly emphasizing its contribution to the development of cultural and humanitarian ties among the Turkic states, as well as to the broader promotion of the Turkic world on international platforms.
