VICE-PRESIDENT OF THE HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION, FOUNDER AND HEAD OF IDEA PUBLIC UNION LEYLA ALIYEVA, AND HEAD OF BAKU MEDIA CENTER ARZU ALIYEVA VISITED THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION

On April 29, 2025, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, and head of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva visited the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in Baku.

Warmly welcoming the guests, President of the Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova acquainted them with the activities of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and presented in detail the Foundation’s mission and strategic objectives.

During the visit, Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva also viewed the museum operating under the Foundation. They were introduced to exhibitions that form part of the museum, showcasing the rich material and cultural heritage of the Turkic world spanning millennia—remnants of ancient craftsmanship traditions, unique samples of decorative and applied arts and clothing, as well as rare exhibits.

At the meeting, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova emphasized the multifaceted projects implemented by the Foundation in the study, preservation, and global promotion of the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples, and highlighted its leading role in this field, once again comprehensively presenting the Foundation’s mission and strategic goals.

Underscoring that the establishment of the Foundation was realized at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, H.E. Ilham Aliyev, Ms. Raimkulova noted in particular that the Head of State’s words, “We have no other family, our family is the Turkic world,” have become the main leitmotif and motto of the Organization’s activities.

Leyla Aliyeva highly praised the steps taken by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in promoting the rich history and cultural heritage of the Turkic world on an international scale, and especially stressed the importance of broadening the active participation of youth in the projects and events carried out. Within the framework of the visit, a cultural program consisting of various samples of Turkic music and dance was also presented and watched with interest.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged initial views on possible future cooperation opportunities, and it was noted that the implementation of joint projects was regarded as a desirable perspective. New prospects for deepening cooperation and expanding cultural ties of the Turkic world were outlined, with the adoption of strategic steps in this direction defined as a target.
