PRESIDENT OF THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION MRS. AKTOTY RAIMKULOVA DELIEVERD A SPEECH AT THE FOURTH CONFERENCE OF THE NON-ALIGNED MOVEMENT PARLIAMENTARY NETWORK
On April 7, 2025, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, attended the 4th Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
The event, dedicated to the theme “The 70th Anniversary of the Spirit of Bandung: The Role of Parliaments in Upholding the Principles of Bandung”, was chaired by the Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network, Mrs. Sahiba Gafarova.
Speaking at the conference, the Foundation’s President Aktoty Raimkulova informed participants about the activities of the Foundation aimed at promoting the values of cultural diversity. She highlighted ongoing projects implemented in cooperation with international partners, including UNESCO, ICESCO, the Organization of Turkic States, TURKSOY, TURKPA, and others.
Special emphasis was placed on the significance of cooperation with the Non-Aligned Movement Parliamentary Network and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the parties on April 6, 2025, which marked an important step towards a new stage of partnership.
The President of the Foundation expressed her gratitude to the organizers of the event and stressed the significance of such international platforms in promoting shared values and fostering global cultural cooperation, particularly with the involvement of Turkic peoples.
The work of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and its contribution to the development of regional cultural cooperation were highly appreciated during the conference.
