In her remarks, the President of the Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, emphasized that the book had been published in accordance with the Decree of His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the celebration of the 900th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Khagani Shirvani. She noted that one of the main objectives of the publication was to bring renewed attention to Khagani Shirvani’s literary legacy and contribute to preserving and promoting his heritage through theatrical performances.

The collection includes three plays: “Khagani” by People’s Poet Mammad Rahim, “The Poet’s Dream” by Zeynal Khalil, and “The Earthquake” by Novruz Ganjali. These works offer an artistic portrayal of the era in which the great poet lived, the socio-political environment of the time, and his literary legacy.
