THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION HOSTED GUESTS OF THE “TURKIC WORLD WEEK” DEDICATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIRST TURKOLOGICAL CONGRESS
On 3 July 2026, a meeting was held at the headquarters of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation as part of the Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress. The meeting brought together the President of the Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, and local and international guests participating in the Week.
The main purpose of the meeting was to review the outcomes of the events held within the framework of the Turkic World Week, discuss the ideas and proposals put forward during the Week, and exchange views on future cooperation, joint initiatives, and strategic prospects.
Welcoming the participants, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, noted that the events organized during the Week had not only showcased the rich cultural and intellectual potential of the Turkic World but had also made a significant contribution to strengthening dialogue among representatives of different countries.
The President of the Foundation emphasized that reviewing the outcomes of the Week was not limited to assessing the results of the events held. According to her, the new ideas and initiatives generated throughout the Week provide an important foundation for the implementation of future projects.
During the meeting, which took place in a sincere and constructive atmosphere, local and international guests shared their impressions of the Turkic World Week and expressed their views on the content and significance of the events. The participants highly appreciated the fact that the Week had brought together representatives of different countries of the Turkic World on a common platform and proposed continuing to organize events in this format while further expanding their geographical reach and scope.
During the discussions, participants expressed their profound appreciation to the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and all partner organizations that contributed to the successful organization and high-level implementation of the Turkic World Week.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants underscored the importance of maintaining the dialogue and cooperation established during the Turkic World Week and expressed confidence that the initiatives put forward would be translated into future joint projects.
