A GRAND OPENING CEREMONY OF THE HOUSE MUSEUM OF PROMINENT KYRGYZ POET ALIKUL OSMONOV WAS HELD IN BISHKEK, THE CAPITAL OF KYRGYZSTAN
The grand opening ceremony of the house museum of the prominent Kyrgyz poet Alikul Osmonov was held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. The project for the restoration and museumization of the house museum was implemented by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation in cooperation with the Bishkek city executive authority.
The opening ceremony was attended by Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Aybek Junushaliyev, Executive Judge of Bishkek city, Chingiz Esengul uulu, First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Aybek Moldogaziyev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The project was implemented within the framework of the implementation of the Declaration of the Summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in Astana, Kazakhstan, on November 3, 2023. It should be noted that this is one of the first projects implemented by the Foundation related to cultural exchange and preservation of the heritage of the Turkic peoples.
The Foundation has also published a collection of poems by Alikul Osmonov "From Time to Time" in Kyrgyz and Azerbaijani, translated by Adil Jamil. This book is the first publication in the "Pearls of Turkish Literature" book series established by the Foundation.
As a result of the restoration of the house museum and its provision with modern equipment, visitors will be able to get acquainted with the cultural environment reflecting the atmosphere of the era in which the outstanding Kyrgyz poet Alikul Osmonov lived.
The reconstructed house museum will become an important cultural center contributing to the study and promotion of Alikul Osmonov's work both in the Kyrgyz Republic and abroad.
