Uzbekistan joins the list of member countries of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation

At the 11th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States, His Excellency Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, expressed his readiness to be represented as a full member of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation.

In his speech, Mr. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev brought to your attention the following ideas: "Dear heads of delegations! In order to bring our fraternal peoples closer together and educate young people in a spirit worthy of our ancestors, it would be good to publish a multi-volume collection of folklore of the Turkic peoples in the languages of the member states of the organization. Our urgent task in this direction is to jointly conduct fundamental research such as "History of the Turkic Countries". At the same time, I think it is appropriate to stimulate direct translation from Turkic languages, conduct optional lessons on the Turkic peoples and their history, ethnography, culture and art in our schools. In this regard, we declare that Uzbekistan is ready to be elected a full member of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation".

We, as the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, express our deep gratitude to His Excellency Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the trust shown and would like to emphasize that this initiative is a great honor for us.
During its activity, the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation has implemented many projects related to Uzbekistan, which is an integral part of the Turkic world.
The implementation of this initiative of the President of Uzbekistan creates a wide opportunity to further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the Turkic peoples, which have a common culture, rich heritage and centuries-old history, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation and the Turkic countries in the direction of studying, protecting and promoting our cultural values.
It should be noted that today Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are founding countries, and Hungary is an observer country of the Turkish Culture and Heritage Foundation.
