PRESIDENT OF THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION PARTICIPATED IN A SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF PUBLIC FIGURE UZBEKALI DZHANIBEKOV

On March 4, 2026, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova participated in the scientific-practical conference titled “The Phenomenon of Uzbekali Dzhanibekov: History, Culture and National Consciousness”, dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman and public figure of Kazakhstan, Uzbekali Dzhanibekov. The event was held at the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Within the framework of the conference, the opening of the thematic exhibition titled “A Personality Who Left an Eternal Mark on Culture” took place. The exhibition featured unique exhibits from the collections of the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the “History of Desht-i-Kipchak” Museum in the city of Arkalyk, and the Ykhlas Museum of Folk Musical Instruments, reflecting the deep roots of national history and culture.

Speaking at the conference, President of the Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, emphasized that Uzbekali Dzhanibekov was not only an influential political figure but also a public figure who left a profound mark in the hearts and memory of the people. According to the president of the organization, Uzbekali Dzhanibekov became one of the key initiators of the return to national roots, the revival of forgotten traditions. Thanks to his efforts, the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Kazakhstan was introduced to the world, giving a significant impetus to the country’s cultural development, the President of the Foundation noted. She also expressed her gratitude to the institutions that contributed to the organization of the event.

The conference became a platform for the exchange of experience and academic ideas among scholars, cultural experts, museum professionals, university professors, as well as doctoral and master’s students.

An important outcome of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The document provides for the implementation of joint cultural and artistic projects, as well as the promotion of Turkic musical heritage at the international level.
