PRESIDENT OF THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION MET WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE INSTITUTE OF HISTORY OF THE ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF UZBEKISTAN

As part of the official visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, held a meeting with the Director of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences and Member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Azamat Ziyo.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the participation of the Uzbek side in the development of the Multilingual Catalog of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Turkic World — a large-scale academic project coordinated by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation. Mr. Azamat Ziyo expressed full support for this initiative and confirmed the Institute’s readiness to actively contribute to the research and expert work on the catalog.
Particular attention during the meeting was devoted to joint efforts aimed at preserving, researching, and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Turkic World on the international stage. The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific cooperation and knowledge exchange among specialized institutions of Turkic countries, as well as the role of joint projects in fostering a shared cultural space.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and shared interest in further coordinating efforts to protect and popularize the common historical and cultural heritage.
