DEPUTY MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN VISITS THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION
On April 3, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Alibek Bakayev, visited the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation and met with the President of the organization, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova.
During the meeting, particular attention was given to expanding cooperation in the field of preserving and promoting the shared cultural heritage of the Turkic world at the international level. The parties discussed enhancing the representation of Kazakhstan’s rich cultural heritage within the Foundation’s projects, developing new mechanisms for safeguarding tangible cultural assets and transmitting them to future generations, as well as implementing joint initiatives planned for 2026, with a focus on achieving more practical results and utilizing modern technologies.
President of the Foundation, Professor Aktoty Raimkulova, noted that Kazakhstan, as one of the founding states of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, consistently provides significant support to the organization’s activities. She emphasized that the Foundation’s work aimed at preserving the common values that unite Turkic peoples will continue to develop in close cooperation with Kazakhstan.
In turn, Mr. Alibek Bakayev expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan to provide comprehensive support to the programs implemented by the Foundation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties highlighted the importance of further deepening cooperation in areas of mutual interest and expressed their readiness to continue bilateral engagement.
