PRESIDENT OF THE TURKIC CULTURE AND HERITAGE FOUNDATION MRS. AKTOTY RAIMKULOVA DELIEVERED A SPEECH AT THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF THE FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE ORGANIZATION OF TURKIC STATES (OTS)

On October 7, 2025, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, delivered a speech at the Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held within the framework of the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States in the city of Gabala, Azerbaijan.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Jeenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Mr. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, as well as representatives of governments and heads of international organizations.

In her address, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova expressed her gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the warm hospitality and the high level of organization of the Summit. She noted that the theme of peace and security holds special importance in strengthening cooperation among the member states and in preserving cultural heritage for future generations.

Continuing her speech, Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova presented a detailed report on the activities carried out by the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation during the current year:

“In 2025, we implemented 65 projects encompassing restoration, museification, digitalization, and exchange programs. In all our initiatives, we prioritize integration, cooperation, and unity. In line with the Turkic Vision – 2040 document and the Declaration of the Astana Summit, we published the first Multilingual Catalogue of the Cultural Heritage of the Turkic World. This publication will serve as the foundation for the creation of the digital platform ‘Turkic Heritage’ in the future.

Furthermore, upon the initiative of His Excellency Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and with the support of the Heads of Turkic States, we implemented the multi-volume and multi-language Anthology titled ‘Heritage of Turkic Folklore’.

 

We also organized an international conference at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, dedicated to the 950th anniversary of ‘Divan Lughat at-Turk’.

Our Foundation continues to strengthen its partnerships with UNESCO, ICESCO, and Turkic cooperation organizations based on the Turkic  Vision – 2040 and TURKTIME documents”.According to Mrs. Aktoty Raimkulova, at the informal Summit held in Budapest in May this year, a historic decision was made to accept Uzbekistan as a full member of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, which further enriched the Turkic family. The Head of the Foundation also noted that Turkmenistan’s aspiration to join as an observer is an important step, expressing hope that the country will soon become a full-fledged member of the family.

President of the Foundation Mrs. Raimkulova concluded her speech with a call for further strengthening of cultural solidarity and unity among the Turkic states.
